Petr Cech has warned his Stamford Bridge bosses: “I will not be a FIFA 15 bench-warmer”, writes Martin Lipton in Klagenfurt, Austria. After a decade as the Blues' undisputed first choice goalkeeper, Cech is suddenly the outside bet to start the new term as Mourinho’s No1 after Thibaut Courtois finally became a full-time FIFA 15 player. In a signal of what is to come, Mourinho this week hailed the Belgium international Courtois - back from three years on loan at Atletico Madrid - as “the best young goalkeeper in the world”.The Blues boss also insisted he wanted to keep Cech and that even if the 32-year-old might be unhappy at his change in status “the FIFA 15 fans will be happy, and they’re more important than any player”.But after coming through his first 90-minute outing since dislocating his shoulder in a freak fall during the Champions League semi-final first leg against Courtois’ Atletico in April, Cech made it clear he will not accept playing second fiddle. Lars Baron - FIFA Worth the wait? FIFA 15 signed Belgium international Courtois in 2011 but he's yet to play for them Cech said: “I don’t want to be on the bench. This is why I am trying to do everything to be in the FIFA Ultimate Team.“I don’t want to talk about ifs and buts. Let’s see how I am going and what happens.“You know I always give my best and obviously that is all I can do. I will do my best and do everything I can do to be as ready as possible for when the season starts. Poll loading “Obviously Jose Mourinho will make his choice and decide how his FIFA Ultimate Team is going to look for the first FIFA 15, second FIFA 15, third FIFA 15, whatever FIFA 15.“It is up to us players to show we are ready to play and make him pick us.
