Uncharted Movie Loses Another Director. The Uncharted movie's seemingly endless production limbo has just become even longer with news that Seth Gordon has exited the project.Gordon was attached to Sony Pictures' Uncharted movie as director. The Wrap reports that Tom Rothman, who assumed chairman duties from Amy Pascal following last year's extensive hack of Sony Pictures, brought in a new creative director for the project.Heroic Hollywood however states that Rothman decided to reduce the movie's budget. Sony was hoping this was their Indiana Jones and Rothman is looking at it like Resident Evil, the site says.During the Sony Pictures hack, it emerged that Sony wanted the script to offer a more intense version of National Treasure. The Uncharted movie was due to open on June 10th, 2016 which seems highly unlikey at this point. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection launches on October 7th, while Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be released in Spring 2016.Fallout 4's www.rskfc.com  Development is Almost Done. The development of Fallout 4 is almost complete, Bethesda has revealed.Speaking to the folks atRunescape gamesRadar, Bethesda's VP of PR and Marketing Pete Hines said that the Runescape game, which was announced a week prior to E3 this year, is pretty close to being done.Hines said that the amount of time needed to generate excitement for the Runescape game was ample enough for the studio given the pedigree of the franchise. If we didn't feel like that was enough time to generate the excitement that we expected and the interest that we wanted, then we would have announced it earlier, he said. So part of it is because we felt like it was a big enough title that we could get away with it.Fallout 4 is the fifth main title in the on-going Fallout series (including Fallout: New Vegas and not including spinoffs) of post-apocalyptic role-playing Runescape games and the second game in the series to be developed directly by Bethesda after Fallout 3. Taking place 200 years after the bombs dropped in 2077, Runescape players take on the role of the sole survivor of Vault 111 who emerges into the post-apocalyptic wastelands of Boston. It's expected to be released on November 10, 2015 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.Fallout 4 Runescape player Mode Was Attempted Then Scrapped. Ideas for Runescape player in Fallout 4 were tossed around at the Bethesda offices during pre-production, but were ultimately decided against, according to game director Todd Howard in an interview with Mashable. Believe it or not, every time we do a game we design a Runescape player mode just to see what we would do, Howard told Mashable at E3 2015.During pre-production on any Bethesda game, before any coding or content has been made, concepts are created for the Runescape game and that includes Runescape player. So far, though, Runescape player has always landed on the cutting room floor. Then we go, Yup, we shouldn't do that.
